I recently had a charming two-night stay at Well Cottage B&B, right in the heart of the Cotswolds. As a marine biologist with a penchant for the serene beauty of nature, this quaint spot offered a lovely break from my usual coastal haunts. The room was comfortable and equipped with essential amenities like tea and coffee facilities and a flat-screen TV, which made the stay feel practical yet cozy. One notable aspect was the availability of free parking on-site - a definite advantage when exploring nearby Cirencester, Bourton on the Water, and Stow on the Wold. Bridget and Neil, the owners, were friendly and informative, making breakfast a delightful experience. The daily spread, including scrambled eggs and salmon, set a pleasant tone for each day. While Well Cottage positions itself as a luxury experience, it truly offers excellent value, especially given the clean and tidy facilities. I'd recommend it to anyone looking to explore the area without breaking the bank, and I wouldn't hesitate to return myself.
